Hello and Welcome!
It’s so nice to meet you! I'm Kaya, (pronounced Kay-ah), the one behind the camera! I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with you! I am an avid fan of the arts! Growing up I explored music, dance, theater, and photography. For years I explored each of these creative outlets but ultimately landed where I feel I was able to serve those around me best and that is through photography!
Portraits of those I love mean so much to my heart—the details, the smiles, the phases of life, they all change too quickly and it is my hope and top priority that I be able to capture a few of these moments in time that you will be able to hold dear to your heart forever!
When I do peak out from behind the camera you might find me curled up enjoying a good movie, playing a board game with the hubs, frequenting a local thrift shop, or tucking in one of my children for the 8th time that evening.
The Style
I love clean, bright, crisp images so in order to achieve that look I primarily shoot with natural light! If working indoors I spend as much time around window light as possible! While I love the nice posed images where everyone is looking at the camera, it’s the interactive, spontaneous ones that I feel stir my heart most!

I strive to create the best photographic environment possible to make everyone comfortable and have a good time! And now that I’ve told you a little bit about me, I’d love to get to know a bit about you! To do so, I'll be emailing you a short questionnaire that will allow me the opportunity to get to know you a bit more before booking!
HEADSHOTS & BRANDING
Lifestyle headshots & branding sessions are done outdoors or in your office space!
I offer two different types of session options to best fit your needs!
The Mini
Headshots
This 30-minute session is short, sweet, and will get you the updated essential portraits you need to freshen up your resume or website!
May include 1 outfit change // Up to 3 people // $25 per additional employee // Print rights to approximately 15-20 edited images will be delivered from this experience!

Headshots
This 1 hour session is great for business owners looking for headshots with multiple outfit changes and looks or businesses wanting to get the whole team included!
May include 4 outfit changes // Up to 10 team members // $25 to add on additional employees // Print rights to approximately 30-40 edited images will be delivered from this experience!

Branding includes anything from the tools you use to the customers you work with! These images are great fill ins for websites and social media platforms to help show clients more about your business!

1 hour of branding coverage for your business!
These lifestyle images capture your work tools and on the job environment that will give your clients an overview of what products/services you offer.

Studio Headshot Sessions
These sessions are indoor and based on
KRP's & the venue's availability! I do not personally own a studio but do have access to a few are the area with great natural light!
These are ideal for those who don't want to bother with planning around weather, and would prefer to capture their professional look in comfortable neutral setting! Studio Sessions are 45 minutes and include print rights to approximately 30-40 edited images!

WHAT DOES MY SESSION INCLUDE?

Each session comes with print rights to all edited images from the shoot accessible through an online downloadable gallery.

HOW LONG UNTIL I GET TO SEE MY PICTURES?

Typical turnaround time is 2-4 weeks

WHEN DO I HAVE TO PAY?

Payment for your session is due in full at the time of your session. You will be emailed an invoice that you may pay online or in person.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

I accept cash, check, or credit card. Checks can be made payable to ‘Kaya Reynolds Photography’.

CAN I POST MY PICTURES ONLINE?

Absolutely! You can download your images and print them/post them anywhere you'd like. During your session I also ask that you sign a release granting KAYA REYNOLDS PHOTOGRAPHY permission to use your images on her website, Facebook page, and/or any other form of online marketing or printed media.

DO YOU PROVIDE EVENT COVERAGE?

Yes! Just email me how long you need coverage for and what your event is and I can send you my event rates!

Scheduling
I use natural light while shooting
so early morning or late afternoon/evening is typically
best for softer light outdoors.
Newborn sessions are typically
scheduled for early to mid morning or
other times upon request.
Location
If you have a specific location(s)
in mind, whether that be at your home or a special place outdoors,
let me know, otherwise I will offer a few suggestions.
A travel fee will be applied to distances exceeding a 30 miles radius from North Liberty, IA.
Clothing Tips
Coordinating colors, not matching:
Pick a few colors and choose clothes that compliment.
Keep your location in mind:
What will your surroundings be like? Consider your background.
Say no to characters:
As with too many patterns, characters can be a distraction as well.
Don't shy away from different textures, like scarves, jewelry, headbands, boots, or other fun accessories that can add a little more to your image.
